Dance category based on street (hip hop, popping, locking, dancehall, breaking, krump) and club styles (house, waacking, vogue). Choreography can be consisted of underground hip hop music, instrumental beats, house, disco and funk music, african and carribiean popular music and also commercial chart music.

Foundationals from street and club styles: grooves (bounce, rock, roll, jacking) and other street/club dance techniques such as waving, popping, locking, isolations, animation, tutting, etc.

For the teams to score higer points in the “dance technique” parameter in street and club styles category, choreography needs to be based on groove(s) combined with at least one other street/club dance technique.

Examples of the artists: hip hop (Snoop Dog, Kendrick Lamar, Drake, Eminem, Kanye West), r’n’b (Cardi B, Nicki Minaj, Doja Cat), trap (Travis Scott, Young Thoug, Pop Smoke), dancehall (Sean Paul, Burna Boy, Vybz Kartel, Pop Caan)

* If a routine is registered and performs in an incorrect discipline as declared by the judges, it will be judged by the rules of the discipline it was registered in and will then be moved to the correct discipline. There won’t be a deduction of points.
